Floyd County, VA....ART IS EVERYWHERE!!!

The Floyd Artist Association will be displaying their talents and wares this coming Saturday, October 16th on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Tuggles Gap, just outside the city of Floyd on Route 8 and the parkway. The leaves are at their peak, so this would be a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

ANOTHER IDEA...Floyd's View Exhibit.  An exhibit honoring the 75th Anniversary of the Blue Ridge Parkway. With over 40 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway within the borders of Floyd County, more than any other county in Virginia, artisans have much to draw inspiration from- such as the geography, the culture, and aspects of nature along the parkway. Seeing this unique area through the artist's eye will bring forth visions to inspire and open the eye of the beholder. AND THEN THERE IS......Russian Artists Breezeway Exhibit. The Breezeway Gallery at The Jacksonville Center will feature works by Russian artists throughout the month of October, beginning with a First Friday reception on October 1.The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public; donations are encouraged. Didn't I say Floyd was all about ART...now I didn't even give you a hint about our music venues this week.....
you will have to visit or search that out for yourself. Come to Floyd, VA and see .
